COMPUTER LAB
The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.  The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Gates Library Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program.
 
Join us and learn to use:  Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Monday through Wednesday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday and Friday:  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sunday:  2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

TUESDAY ADULT CLASSES
Tuesday adult classes are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.

March 19, 2019Resumes and Cover Letters that Work
Your clients’ or students’ resumes and cover letters have an important job to do: to quickly convince employers to contact them. In this program, viewers will discover how to customize these documents to effectively introduce themselves to employers. Viewers will learn about different types of resumes and get career coaches’ top tips for creating, formatting, and submitting resumes and cover letters.

Viewers discover how to make the most of their time and efforts in the job search. In this program, they will learn how to expand their network, find open positions, stay motivated, and overcome employment obstacles

The first Saturday of every month is for 1st-4th Grade 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM  and 5th-8th Grade 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM

Students will learn how to create a simple budget with borders, clip art and word art.

Learn how to enter and edit data, change the appearance of your worksheets, and create calculations and charts based on your data.
